Ile de la Reunion

As I drift further away from the lands of curry and chapatis the God of Bad Luck seems to be loosing his grip on my fate. The rally days are already foggy memories that I will only retain to remind me not to ever join one.Reunion is a volcanic island that welcomes you from 40 miles out to sea and you can appreciate it’s beauty when you close in.  We arrived at a little marina in St Pierre, a little French town with friendly folks on the South of Ile de la Reunion.

It is a good time to practice French, eat and drink a la French to cleanse the body and soul from six months of Indian flavors.
